Lessons with Ess are designed to spark joy, build confidence, and help each student discover their unique musical voice. Whether you’re brand new to music or refining advanced skills, Esther Nixon brings years of experience as a performer, director, and recording artist to create lessons that are supportive, challenging, and inspiring.

Voice, Piano, and Songwriting
How it works
Lessons are tailored to the student’s goals, with a balance of technique, repertoire, and creativity. Students are encouraged to bring in music that excites them, while also learning fundamentals that build lifelong musicianship.
Scheduling
Weekly or biweekly lessons are available. Online lessons (via Zoom) can be scheduled.
rates
$25 for a 30 minute lesson
$38 for a 45 minute lesson
$50 for a 60 minute lesson
Cancelation/reschedule policy
Life happens! Lessons may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations within less than 24 hours are non-refundable. If Esther needs to cancel, the lesson will always be rescheduled or refunded.
